Crown SG™
The Crown SG™ is Miner's all-steel draft gear that can be used in any freight car, including intermodal and stand-alone 125 ton cars. Designed for the standard 24 5/8" pocket application, the Crown SG's robust spring package provides maximum protection for the industry's heaviest cars. The Crown SG was the first all-steel draft gear to meet AAR specification M-901G. In addition, the Crown SG shares the proven "million-mile" ruggedness of other Miner Crown Series draft gears, which typically surpass AAR specs for new gear performance after years of extended punishing service.
