Miner Type "D" door operating mechanisms provide safe, fast, reliable discharge from open top hoppers, increasing safety, productivity and car utilization. The exclusive locking system of the Type "D" uses a primary over-center lock and a secondary cam lock to assure doors are sealed tight. When opened, doors automatically stay in the full open position for efficient, trouble-free unloading.
