The Miner Type "G" double-link door operating mechanism is specifically designed to provide safer, faster, more trouble-free unloading of dense materials, such as coal, rock, limestone, aggregate and ore, from open top hopper cars. With locks on each door, the system allows a single person to efficiently operate the doors from either side of the car.

Manual Type G

Auto Type G

  • Replaces Wine doors and older systems to provide reliable, efficient automated rock unloading system
  • Optional patented solar powered electrical indicator to ensure doors are shut
  • Individual hopper operation or option to operate all doors simultaneously
  • Doors can be operated with electrical touch pad or pneumatic push button control
  • Side or center mount option
