Type GR Door Operating Mechanism
The Miner Type "GR" double-link door operating mechanism is specifically designed to convert rapid discharge systems to manual single door operating aggregate cars.
The Type "GR" provides safer, faster, more trouble-free unloading of dense materials, such as coal, rock, limestone, aggregate and ore, from open top hopper cars. With locks on each door, the system allows a single person to efficiently operate the doors from either side of the car.
