Miner Books Orders for 7,400+ Railcars Featuring Double Groove III Plastic Pellet Gates
(Geneva, IL U.S.A.) Miner Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce that four new customers have booked orders collectively totalling more than 7,000 railcars featuring Miner's new low-profile pneumatic gates for plastic pellets – the Double Groove III.
The most recent orders include a 1,500 car order for Braskem, the largest petrochemical company in the Americas and the world's leading biopolymer producer. These cars are being built by TrinityRail, and should be completed by end of 2020.
Additional orders booked this summer include a 1600-car order for Inter Pipeline and almost 1000 cars for Sabic.
