European railcars began using Miner TecsPak® buffer and drawgear
springs in 1979. Buffer springs can be used either as a retrofit
replacement in existing housings or as the spring in new buffer
constructions. Miner's drawgear springs are available in a number
of configurations and capacities, including smaller diameter models
used where reduced clearances are present. Since spring designs
do not all fall under UIC specifications, Miner can engineer products
to meet your unique size, shape, and capacity requirements.
