Bob Pokorski Joins MINER ENTERPRISES

Geneva, IL - Bob Pokorski has joined Miner Enterprises
as Director of Engineering.

As the company's new Director of Engineering, Mr. Pokorski will oversee Miner's continued engineering and R&D mission to apply product and service innovation to customers' railcar business challenges.

"With 14 years of engineering experience, Bob's knowledge of railcar systems design and the railcar supply industry will greatly benefit our customers," said Kris Jurasek, President Miner Enterprises, "We look forward to the leadership Bob will provide as we continue to create new products and services that will increase railcar performance."

Prior to joining Miner, Bob most recently served as Vice President Equipment for TTX Company, overseeing the engineering and maintenance planning departments as well as the entire TTX maintenance operations. His responsibilities included the design, construction, maintenance, modification and performance of nearly 150,000 intermodal, autorack and general purpose cars.

Bob is a member of several professional associations, including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers; the Board of Directors of the Railway Supply Institute where Bob will serve as Vice Chairman in 2009; the Advisory Committee to the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at West Virginia University; and the Academy of Distinguished Alumni Inductee Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at West Virginia University, where Bob received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
