The Mini-BuffGear gives drawbar equipped railcars and trains improved lading protection and train handling. This special buffgear incorporates a TecsPak® elastomer spring package to provide resilience in drawbar designs with a standard yoke and draft pocket. This resilience reduces any tendency of the drawbar to bind while negotiating curves.

The Mini-BuffGear's high preload and limited travel provide ultra low slack in drawbar connected multiple-unit well cars and groups of unit train coal cars.
